Creating & Managing Your Dragons

From DCC NFTs to playable TCG World Dragons: creation, Master Souls, unpacking, and both Mythic qualification paths.

Plan on DRC Guild. Create on TCG World.

The DRC Guild tools help you examine archived Dragon Cave Club NFT traits, plan Dragon combinations and explore historical gold examples. Only TCG World can actually create, pack, swap, unpack or manage your in-game Dragons. Start with the Dragon Flush Finder or Flying Dragon Portfolio Planner, then open the official TCG World Dragons page ↗.

Dragon tiers and DCC requirements

StageDCC NFTsWhat you can do
Baby0Initial gameplay Dragon; no DCC NFT needed
Tier 1 · Hunter1Companion for battling Sprites
Tier 2 · Raider2Ride and explore; hunt Regional Artifacts
Tier 3 · Battle4Arena battles and tournaments
Tier 4 · Flying8Fly around the TCG World metaverse
Tier 5 · Mythic8 or up to 10Two special qualification paths described below

Step 1 — Create your Dragon

  1. Go to TCG World Dragons ↗ and open its Create page.
  2. Choose your Dragon tier.
  3. Select a Master Soul. An empty tier slot creates a new one automatically.
  4. Select the DCC NFTs that make up your intended Dragon.
  5. Preview the resulting region, rarity and rank as shown by TCG World.
  6. Select Confirm Deposit. The deposited DCC NFTs are locked, not burned, while that Dragon exists.

Before depositing: DRC Guild does not know which DCC NFTs are already packed in-game. Verify availability and official eligibility directly in TCG World. Never approve a wallet transaction based solely on a DRC simulation.

Step 2 — Manage: swap, unpack and rebuild

After creation, TCG World takes you to the Manage page. Swap DCCs to replace one or more locked NFTs and try a different rarity or type. Unpack to dismantle the playable Dragon and unlock the NFTs so you can use them in another build. The associated Master Soul retains saved progress.

Step 3 — Understand Master Souls

Think of each Master Soul as a progression profile. It stores the Dragon's progress, stats, skills and Dragon Gold. Each Soul contains five tier slots (Tier 1–5). You can create multiple Souls for multiple builds and select or swap Souls as you manage tiers.

Unpacking removes the current playable Dragon and releases its DCC NFTs, but the progress in the Master Soul remains. When you rebuild that tier later, your retained Soul progress can be reused under TCG World's system.

Future feature, not live: TCG's tutorial says that Soul NFT minting and trading are planned for later. Do not assume Master Souls can currently be minted, transferred or sold.

Tier 5 Mythic — two alternative routes

Path A · Top 10 rarity: Use one DCC NFT ranked #1–#10 plus seven other distinct DCC NFTs (eight total). This path does not require a complete TCG trait set. DRC's Flush Finder has a dedicated Mythic · Top 10 rarity planning mode.

Path B · Complete TCG trait set: Collect all 11 TCG trait groups across up to ten distinct DCC NFT slots. One NFT may contribute more than one group. The Flush Finder can check this using the TCG trait set and Mythic · TCG traits mode.

Ranking caution: DRC shows archived collection rarity ranks, which might differ from the rankings recognized by the live game. A simulated Top 10 or TCG trait-set result is not confirmation of Mythic eligibility; check TCG World before depositing.

Frequently asked questions

Are DCC NFTs burned when creating a Dragon?

No. Per TCG's tutorial, NFTs are locked while the Dragon exists and unlocked when you unpack it.

Do I lose progress when I swap NFTs or unpack a Dragon?

TCG's tutorial says no: progress is saved in the Master Soul even when you change the locked DCCs or unpack your playable Dragon.

Can I sell a Dragon or Master Soul now?

The tutorial describes future plans to mint Souls as tradeable NFTs. That is not confirmation that Soul trading is available now.

Is DRC's historical gold figure the gold I'll receive in-game?

No. The DRC calculator shows historical Dragon Bible worksheet ranges and illustrative estimates. The tutorial describes Dragon Gold as in-game value held by the Master Soul, used for rewards and upgrades.
